The Staff Selection Commission conducted Stenographers Grade ‘C’ Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, 2011 on 10.7.2011 for recruitment to the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ of the following Services/Cadres :-

1. Central Secretariat Stenographers Service Grade ‘C’ ;
2. Stenographers Cadre of Indian Foreign Service (B) Grade-II ;
3. Armed Forces Headquarters Stenographers Service Grade ‘C’ ;
4. Railway Board Secretariat Stenographers Service Grade ‘C’ ;
5. Election Commission of India Stenographers Service Grade ‘C’ ;
6. Central Vigilance Commission Stenographers Service Grade ‘C’.

Out of 488 registered candidates, 434 candidates actually appeared in the said examination.

Following are the details of 340 candidates who have qualified in the written part of Stenographers Grade ‘C’ Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, 2011 and are eligible for being called for Skill Test in Stenography on Computer.

Details of the cut-off marks fixed by Commission for calling the candidates for Skill Test are as under :-

The list herein is PROVISIONAL. The candidates whose roll nos. figure in the list would be called for Interview/personality test subject to their fulfilling all the eligibility conditions/requirements as prescribed for the post in the Notice of Examination and also subject to thorough verifications of their identity with reference to their photographs, signatures, handwritings, etc., on the application forms, admission certificates, etc. If on verification from the application form, it is found that any candidate does not fulfill, any of the eligibility conditions, he/she will not be called for the Interview/personality test.

Tentatively, the Skill Test is expected to commence shortly and the Skill Test Programme will be made available on Commission’s Northern Region(NR) website soon. Qualified eligible candidates should check Northern Region website regularly and contact Northern Region Office if they do not receive call letters atleast one week before the date of Skill Test.
