The Staff Selection Commission conducted the written examination for Recruitment of Constable (GD) in I.T.B.P. Force Examination, 2011 on 15.5.2011 and Re-examination on 5.6.2011 on all India basis, followed by detailed Medical Examination for candidates meeting the cut-off for different categories in vacancies.

The final result of the aforesaid examination was declared on 18.8.2011. The vacancies were filled State-wise and in all 6385 candidates were recommended for appointment to the said post.
