Qualification :

• Should be a Graduate from a recognized university or institution.
• Should qualify a test in Punjabi Typewriting, to be conducted by the appointing authority at a speed of 30 words per minute within one year from the date of his appointment, failing which no annual increments shall be allowed till he qualifies such test;
• Should have passed at least one hundred and twenty hours course with hands-on experience in the use of Personal Computer or Information Technology in Office Productivity Applications or Desktop Publishing Applications from a Government recognized institution or a reputed institution which is ISO 9001 certified
• Should have passed a course in Computer Information Technology equivalent to ‘O’ level certificate of Department of Electronics Accreditation of Computer Courses (DOEACC) of Government of India”.

Age limit :   Candidates should be between 18 to 37 years as on 01-01-2011

• General category Rs. 500.00
• Scheduled caste/  Backward Class   Rs. 250.00
   

Selection Process :

Selection will be based purely on the merit prepared on the basis of marks obtained in written examination. There will be no interview. The qualifying marks will be 50% (fifty per cent) of the total marks for general category & 35% (thirty five per cent) for others. In case some qualifying candidates obtain equal marks, then for selection, preference will be given to a candidate (with higher score in Qualifying Degree) and after that to the candidates who are older in age. Merit list for each category of posts shall be prepared separately and the candidates shall be recruited based on the position in merit list of the respective category for a particular post.
