SSC Official clarification regarding Booklet No and OMR Sheet No mismatch

It has come to the notice of the Commission that some times the candidates get unduly worried when they get the Question booklet with a number different from the number shown on the OMR Answer sheet. This is to clarify that there would be cases where the number on the Question booklet and OMR Answer sheets would not match. The candidates are hereby informed that in all such cases they should proceed with the examination using the OMR answer sheets provided to them in accordance with the instructions given therein.

The candidates would not be put to any disadvantage only on account of the mis-match in the number of Question booklet and the OMR Answer sheets.
