(Written Exam Result) Junior Engineers (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Quantity Surveying & Contract) Examination, 2014

Staff Selection Commission conducted written examination of Paper-II for recruitment to the post of Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Quantity Surveying & Contract) Examination, 2014 on 18.1.2015 on all India basis for recruitment to the posts of Junior Engineers (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Quantity Surveying and Contract) Examination, 2014.

2 Result of Paper-I for evaluation of Paper-II of the aforesaid examination was declared on 12.12.2014 on the basis of which a total number of 8852 candidates qualified for Paper-II of Civil Engineering and 2135 candidates qualified for Paper-II of Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.

3. Based upon the cut-offs fixed by Commission in Paper-II, following are the categorywise details of the candidates who are qualifying for being called for interview:-

I. Civil Engineering

*In addition to the number of UR candidates shown above, 890 OBC, 233 SC and 76 ST candidates are also meeting the cut-off for UR category. Such candidates have been shown in their respective category.

II. Electrical/Mechanical Engineering

*In addition to the number of UR candidates shown above, 207 OBC, 24 SC and 7 ST candidates are also meeting the cut-off for UR category. Such candidates have been shown in their respective category.

(Note 1: Category has been taken from unverified data sent by Regional Office. Note 2: Category used for processing of result of Paper-I have been used for result processing of Paper-II.)

4. Dhanya S.S. (Roll No 9211014806) was allowed to appear in Paper-II in pursuance of order dated 14.1.2015 in O.A. No. 180/00022/15 of Hon’ble CAT, Ernakulam Bench. Her result has been kept in sealed cover and is subject to the further order of the Hon’ble Tribunal.

5. The Answer scripts of candidate who have not written their name, roll numbers etc. and who have not affixed their signatures & LTIs on the top portion of the answer books as required per instruction in the Answer Book have not been evaluated and these candidates have been awarded Zero marks.

6. The list is PROVISIONAL. The candidates whose roll nos. figure in the list would be called for Interview/personality test subject to their fulfilling all the eligibility conditions/requirements as prescribed for post in the Notice of Examination and also subject to thorough verifications of their identity with reference to their photographs, signatures, handwritings, etc., on the application forms, admission certificates, etc. If on verification from the application form, it is found that any candidate does not fulfill, any of the eligibility conditions, he/she will not be allowed for the Interview.

7. The category status in respect of candidates belonging to reserved categories has been indicated along with their roll numbers. If any candidate finds a mismatch between his/her name and roll number and category, he/she must bring it to the notice of the respective Regional Office of the Commission immediately.

8. The Interview is likely to commence in the last week of March, 2015. The Interview schedule will be available on concerned Regional Office’s website by 09th March, 2015. Qualified eligible candidates, who do not receive call letters for the Interview by 16th March, 2015 should contact the concerned Regional Offices of the Commission immediately.

9. This result is also available on SSC's Website: http://ssc.nic.in. Marks of the candidates will be placed on the website shortly.
