Post Name: Assistant Epigraphist (Dravidian Inscriptions)

Educational Qualification:

Master’s Degree in Tamil/Malayalam/Telugu/Kannada with Ancient Indian History as a subject at Bachelor’s Degree level from a recognized university or equivalent;

Master’s Degree in History with Ancient Indian History as a subject and Tamil/Malayalam/Telugu/Kannada as one of the subjects at Bachelor’s Degree level from a recognized university or equivalent.

How to Apply:

As per the clarification received from the Office of the Director General, Archaeological Survey of India, Ministry of Culture, New Delhi vide Letter No.10-3/2009-Adm.I dated 01st September, 2014, “the
language papers, viz., Tamil/Malayalam/Telugu/Kannada either at BA or MA level should be a full time subject in which degree is awarded and should be counted towards final grading”.
