(Jobs) Recruitment of Various Posts at Goa PSC - 2015 "ADVERTISEMENT NO. 13 YEAR 2015"

In case of non-availability of suitable candidates with the knowledge of Konkani for the posts in professional colleges, Consultants in Directorate of Health Services and highly technical/scientific posts, the Goa Public Service Commission may recommend a candidate if otherwise found fit and this requirement can be relaxed by the Government, on the recommendation of the Goa Public Service Commission, if the Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do.

Prescribed EQs are minimum & mere possession of same does not entitle the candidates to be called for interview. Where number of applications received is large, the Commission will short list the candidates to be called for interview as mentioned in the “Instructions”.

I. DIRECTORATE OF HEALTH SERVICES

1. Junior Consultants:

(i) Pathologist …… 1 post
(ii) Gynaecologist …… 2 posts (1 resvd for OBC)
(iii) Anaesthetist …… 1 post
(iv) Ophthalmic Surgeon …… 1 post
(v) Surgeon …… 1 post

Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+5,400/-.

Age: Not exceeding 40 years.

Educational & Other Qualifications:-

Essential (i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the said Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Postgraduate degree, failing which post-graduate diploma, in the speciality concerned. (iii) In case of Diploma holders, Work in responsible position connected with the speciality concerned for 2 years after post-graduation Diploma. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

2. Junior ENT Surgeon …… 1 post

Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+5,400/-.

Age: Not exceeding 40 years.

Educational & Other Qualifications:-

Essential (i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than Licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the IMC Act, 1956. (ii) Post-graduate degree/diploma qualifications in the
speciality concerned. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

II. LABOUR DEPARTMENT

3. Junior Anaesthetist under ESI Scheme …… 1 post

Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+5,400/-.

Age: Not exceeding 40 years.

Educational & Other Qualifications:-

Essential: (i) A recognised Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualification) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of Section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. (ii) Post Graduate Degree in the speciality concerned. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

4. Ayurvedic Doctor under ESI Scheme …… 1 post

Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+5,400/-.

Age: Not exceeding 40 years.

Educational & Other Qualifications:-

Essential: (i) A recognized Medical qualification included in the Second, Third and Fourth Schedule to the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 (48 of 1970). (ii) Enrolment on the Central or State Register of Indian Medicine. (iii) Three years of Ayurvedic practice, preferably in a recognized hospital or a dispensary. (iv) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.

III. DIRECTORATE OF AGRICULTURE

5. Subject Matter Specialist (Fisheries) in Krishi Vigyan Kendra, South …... 1 post

Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+5,400/-.

Age: Not exceeding 40 years.

Educational & Other Qualifications:-

Essential: (i) Master’s Degree in Fisheries Science or Master’s Degree in Marine Science or equivalent from a recognised University. (ii) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: (i) Two years experience in Krishi Vigyan Kendra. (ii) Knowledge of Marathi.

IV. DIRECTORATE OF PROSECUTION

6. Assistant Public Prosecutor …… 7 posts (2 resvd for OBC, 1 resvd for ST and 1 resvd for CFF) (2nd time)

Scale of Pay: Rs. 15,600-39,100+5,400/-

Age: Not exceeding 40 years.

Educational & Other Qualifications:-

Essential: (i) A degree in Law from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification. (ii) Must have practiced as an Advocate for 2 years. (iii) Knowledge of Konkani.

Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi.
