I want to know if a candidate is weak in general awareness section. but does exceptionally well in others (Aptitude, Reasoning, English).So obviously he/she will score good in both tier-1 and tier-2. Now the question is whether he will be able to crack the interview and get final selection or not ?

Answer:

Dear Candidate,
if you are weak in general knowledge so don't worry because you can still get good score in other 3 sections (Aptitude, Reasoning and English) and according to CGL Tier-2 syllabus there is no separate paper for general knowledge.

Now the question whether you can score good marks in Interview. SSC Interview is purely based on you personality, because in interview questions is generally based on your CV (Like: Hobbies, Educational Background, Your hometown and some questions form General Studies). So you don't think more about your General Knowledge Section rather focus on you preparation and prove yourself.
