I am Gaurav from Punjab but presently i am serving in defence in Gujarat. Please clear my doubts for CGL SSC. Is CGL exam zone vise. means if i want to join in punjab, i need to appear from punjab or i can give exam from Gujarat. I want to appear in exam in 2015. Please Guide me.

If you want to join in Punjab, you should fill Punjab as your 1st preference as state in application form and you should also appear exam from Punjab cities because SSC gives opportunity to candidates to choose post preference and state also.
