Recruitment of Constable/Pioneer (Electrician, Plumber, Carpenter, Mason, Painter ,Welder)

Applications are invited from eligible male Indian citizens for filling up the following Group- ‘C’ Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial posts in ITB Police on temporary basis likely to be permanent. The post has All India liability and selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India and even abroad. On appointment, the candidate shall be governed by the ITBPF Act and Rules. Last date for receipt of applications is 16th July, 2011 for all States except for Assam, Meghalaya,
Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu and Kashmir State, Lahaul and Spiti Distirct and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep for which last date is 23rd July, 2011.

Pay Scale :

• Pay Scale – (Pay Band- 1) Rs. 5200 – 20200 + Grade Pay Rs. 2,000/- per month.
• Other allowances: The post will carry Dearness Allowance, Ration Money, Washing Allowance as admissible from time to time, Special Compensatory Allowance while posted in specified border areas, free uniform, free accommodation or HRA, Transport Allowance, Free leave pass and any other allowance as admissible in the Force from time to time under the rules/instructions. These posts will be covered under new Restructured Defined Contribution Pension Scheme.

Age Limit : 18 to 23 years (Cut-off date for determining the age will be 16/07/2011)

Qualification :

• Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board with
• One year’s experience in the trade of a Mason or Carpenter or Plumber or Electrician or Welder or Painter.
• Preference will be given to those who have a certificate of trade from an Industrial Training Institute or recognized Institution.

Eligible and interested candidates should send their Application (duly filled in Hindi or English only) complete in all respects and Candidate’s Admit Card duly filled in, in the prescribed proforma as per Annexure ‘I’ and Annexure ‘II’. The applications shall either be type written or neatly hand written on one side only on full size plain paper with passport size photographs affixed on application/admit card (duly attested by Gazetted Officer) along with application fee, enclosures as in para-8 to the Inspector General (Special) Frontier, ITBP, West Block, Wing- 2, Sector-1, R.K.Puram, New Delhi – 110066, on or before the prescribed last date i.e.

The candidates belonging to General and OBC category will be required to pay Rs 50/- (non-refundable) as application fee in form of Central Recruitment Fee
